Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel came out just yesterday to mixed reviews across. The game features the strong array of different gameplay elements that we have come to expect from the Borderlands series, but fails to really push the envelope in any meaningful way. While the expectations may have been higher for The Pre-Sequel, gamers are no less happy to spend some time in the Borderlands universe. We can't say we blame them – it's a pretty amazing place!
However, only a day after the title's release, there appears to be a downloadable content leak. Already on the disc – or so it would seem – is a character from one of the upcoming content packages. The only thing we can say for sure at this point is that this character's name is 'Aurelia,' and like her Magic: The Gathering counterpart, dresses to make a statement.
While having downloadable content already on the disc is nothing new, there is still an air of controversy to hearing about things like this. I think it's fair to say that developers have to find a happy medium of just how much unreleased content gets put on the disc before a game's release, because if there's too much, it's obviously unfair to gamers buying your title. On the other side of that, develoeprs need to give themselves a headstart, as gamers have quite an appetite for content. There will be players who finish the Pre-Sequel sometime day. Frankly, there's probably someone who has already completed its main storyline, at least.
