Bloodborne was announced earlier this year. Being developed by From Software exclusively for the Playystation 4, we're very excited to see what the Dark Souls developer can come up with on eighth-generation technology. We're betting that Bloodborne turns into one of the generation's bigger releases, given that From Software's name carries so much weight now and there's been a lack of really great exclusive titles across the board. We're all still waiting for big name games like Halo 5 and Uncharted 4: A Thief's End.
From Software recently had to cut their Alpha testing a day short, but they promised to bring the servers back up for gamers to enjoy for the remaining day at a then undisclosed time. Ready your weapons, because it's a bit short notice: the last day of Alpha testing is October 19, just a short time from now.
In addition to what gamers were treated to the first time around, this stage of the Alpha test will offer players the chance to try out the game's cooperative system. A major feature of the Dark Souls series, cooperative play sometimes makes near impossible boss fights seem a little less frightening.
For those of you with previous invites to the Alpha test, you should have already gotten an e-mail notification of these events. Given that From Software is such a great team, you should definitely do your part of the Alpha test and fill out any surveys that you are asked to. These testing stages aren't just there to give you advance access.
