Ubisoft's open-world racer The Crew will be missing its scheduled November 11 release by just under a month. Instead, you'll have to wait until December 2 before you can stroll into stores and leave with a copy in hand. Following three closed betas, the teams of Ivory Tower and Ubisoft Reflections kept learning about things to tweak and adjust. In fact, another closed beta, this one for the current-gen consoles only, is planned for some time in November.
This isn't the game's first delay, either. It was originally set for Q1 of this year before being pushed back until July at the earliest, September at the latest. Then that window was pushed back, leaving us with the November 11 date that has itself been shot down. What is it with Ubisoft lately and not being able to deliver any of its software at the promised time? Watch Dogs, The Division, Assassin's Creed, all keep getting pushed and pushed. Is Ubisoft just so stretched thin that it can't commit anymore?
Anyway, The Crew is now scheduled for December 2 on Windows, PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.
