From Software has postponed the Bloodborne Alpha originally scheduled for today.
In a tweet on the official Bloodborne account, From stated that they had some issues, but did not elaborate. They asked for fans to wait until further announcements.

Sony sent out invites for select PlayStation 4 owners to participate in said closed alpha, to “gather community feedback and data to improve Bloodborne’s online experience.” The first two alpha sessions pushed through without a hitch, and some participants shared early details and even streamed their gameplay.
Of course, although many fans are taking this as an opportunity to play games early, alpha and beta tests are made public for the purpose of pushing game development forward. From may have to cancel the last alpha test altogether if having it push through will not be conducive to said development.
What do you think could be the reasons for the abrupt cancellation? Share your thoughts with us in the comments. Bloodborne will be released in Japan on February 5th, 2015 and a day later in the West.
