By now, you should know whether or not you're into the LEGO games. Or maybe you're just waiting for developer Traveller's Tales and publisher Warner Bros. to base a future title on one of your favorite properties that has yet to be LEGO-fied. Or maybe you have slight interest in the latest installment and are waiting for a favorite character to be announced. How about filmmaker / comic writer Kevin Smith as playable? Would that sway you?
In a most out-of-left-field announcement, ol' Silent Bob has been revealed in minifig form for LEGO Batman 3, dressed in his trademark oversized hockey jersey. Since when did Smith join the Justice League? Well, he did pen a whole bunch of Batman stories, but if that's the case, wouldn't you expect other Batman comic authors to show up as well? Let's see Alan Moore up in here! His beard alone can strike fear in more villains than the Dark Knight ever could!
LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham arrives on November 11 for Windows, Mac, Wii U, 3DS, PS4, PS3, PS Vita, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. As for Mr. Smith, he'll be able to answer your burning questions at New York Comic Con's LEGO Batman panel at noon on Saturday, October 11.
