Call of Duty Advanced Warfare developer Sledgehammer Games has confirmed that the upcoming shooter will feature a Search and Rescue mode in addition to Search and Destroy.
In Ghosts, Search and Rescue was a mix of Search and Destroy and Kill Confirmed which saw two teams fight and drop tags when killed. If a member of your own team recovered your tag, you were revived but if a member of the opposing team got there first, you were eliminated from the game.
On Twitter, Sledgehammer co-founder Michael Condrey said "we're bringing both. Take your pick." He also commented, "Thanks all for the continued feedback from our mulitplayer reveal. Goliath scorestreak can no longer flag carry in CTF."
The button and control layout for Advanced Warfare's exo-suits has been confirmed as well and is as follows:
User TheXclusiveAce does note however that "There is no need to boost jump (even to achieve max height). There is also no double clicking the sticks for a dodge, you just need to make sure you're clicking in a direction to the rear rather than a little bit forward if you're on the ground."
While that is for the PlayStation 4 version of the game, we can probably expect something similar across the various other consoles.
The exo-suit was introduced to Advanced Warfare more than two years ago and Sledgehammer believes it could help redefine the franchise thanks to the new moves and abilities it unlocks.
Sledgehammer recently confirmed that there will be no Wii U version of the game.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is set for release on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One on November 4th.
