Klei Entertainment founder Jamie Cheng has announced on the PlayStation Blog that Don't Starve is being released on PlayStation Vita next week.
The 'Giant Edition' of the game will be available for free if you already own the game on PlayStation 4 and includes Reign of Giants expansion. If you don't have the PS4 version it will cost €13.99/$14.99.
Don't Starve was part of the PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection earlier this year and if you availed of that offer you've effectively got the game twice without spending a penny beyond the price of your Plus subscription.
However, the game will not be cross-play with the PS4 version due to different coding so you won't be able to transfer character unlocks.
Klei first revealed that a Vita version was being looked into back in January. You can check out our tips and tricks for getting started in the game here.
