The Assassin Order has some buildings and structures to their name, in spite of the secret nature of their order. These were located in places as diverse as the De Grandpre warehouse, Galata, Tiber Island, and Great Inagua.
At the very tail end of the trailer, you can see who is presumably Arno talking with some Assassins from up above. It is our first look at what is presumably the Assassin Order in their domain for Unity, and it implies that the order has taken deep root in the city.
This part, more than anything else in the trailer, hints at what could be an even broader scope than we imagined for Unity, based on what we had seen before. Imagine a Paris discreetly overrun with Assassins everywhere, seeking out Templars and openly taking them out in broad daylight. The Revolution was a chaotic time, they could have presumably gotten away with such things.
So, you may see Arno with a band of three other Assassins in multiplayer, and you may also run across even more groups of Assassins in-game, and work with them, or even lead them. You might even go out on the field with your superiors for some truly big missions. Does that sound like an Assassin’s Creed game you’d like to play?
Assassin's Creed Unity is set for release on October 28th for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Check out the Gamescom trailer below.
