The Elder Scrolls, The Elder Scrolls 6, Starfield, Rumor,
Fans of Bethesda has been waiting for what feels like an eternity for a new mainline installment to The Elder Scrolls. For years we’ve been stuck with The Elder Scrolls V, which is constantly finding itself being released on the latest platforms available. With that said, it’s a good reason why this game continues to find a new port being released for this iconic title. It’s such a solid RPG experience and fans can continue to enjoy it on the latest platforms along with the game being available readily for newcomers who might have missed out on the game originally. Still, it’s a title that has left plenty of fans ready for the next chapter.
We’ve known for a good while that The Elder Scrolls 6 was in development. Bethesda confirmed the game in the past, but it came with the announcement of Starfield. This was a new upcoming IP being developed by Bethesda which had plenty of fans waiting to see just what the game would be about. After all, it was confirmed that Starfield would be released first at the time and would be a next-generation console exclusive.
Of course, that was before Microsoft acquired Bethesda, and earlier during E3, we got the first big trailer for Starfield. During this trailer, fans picked up on a small image that they believe is a clue to where The Elder Scrolls 6 will be taking place. The image can be spotted during the 1:18 moment of the trailer where the character is in a cockpit of sorts. On the side of panels, you’ll see a small scratch that fans have blown up and compared to the official map for The Elder Scrolls franchise.
The image looks like it fits with High Rock and Hammerfell. It’s of course just a guess with fans as there’s no confirmation on where The Elder Scrolls 6 will be taking place. For now, we’ll have to wait and see when the official trailer emerges to set the stage for The Elder Scrolls 6. In the meantime, do you think this is a nod to the location of the next mainline installment?
