Ubisoft has released a new gameplay trailer of their upcoming 3rd person open world title, Assassin’s Creed Unity. Dubbed “Revolution,” the trailer shows him stalking his way through angry crowds, leaping down the side of a building, and killing guards with his iconic Hidden Blades.
"For centuries, my countrymen have suffered under the oppression of an arrogant and decadent aristocracy," the says the Master Assassin, Arno. "The common people cry out for food, for liberty, for justice. But they shall have no justice without someone to fight in their name.”
Last week, the game’s creative director Alex Amancio described Unity as a new narrative start for the franchise, including a new context for the game’s modern day events and setting itself apart from the existing titles in the Assassin’s Creed franchise.
The game is set amidst the chaos of the 18th century Paris, where a young Master Assassin named Arno embarks on an extraordinary journey to expose the true powers behind the French Revolution. His pursuit will throw him into the middle of a ruthless struggle for the fate of a nation and ultimately carve a new destiny for the people of France.
The game is set for an October 28 release on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
