Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright has been dated for release in the United States. The game is already out in Europe. The 3DS crossover stars the puzzle-solving investigator and the criminal defense attorney in a back to back adventure in Labyrinth City.
Nintendo released a cinematic trailer to set up the events that brought the two characters together, and the game itself uses elements from both popular series. Wright must defend his client, who has been accused of witchcraft, using evidence that Layton uncovers through exploration and puzzle solving.
The game is out on August 29.
