In the latest video released for Alien: Isolation, we get a glimpse of the characters within the game and the people who play them.
We get to see Amanda Ripley, daughter of the films' protagonist Ellen Ripley, investigate the disappearance of her mother. She is transferred as a Weyland Yutani employee to the space station Sevastopol in order to find the flight recorder of the Nostromo. It was also revealed that Ripley has other things to worry about besides aliens since the space station is falling apart and the population is dwindling. Consequently, there are a lot of people who are just trying to survive.
It was also revealed that the developer casted real people to play some of the characters since they wanted them to look and feel real. They aim to give players believable characters that they can care about.
Earlier this year, we found out that the game will run at 1080p on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Alien: Isolation has been dated for an October 7 release on the PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
