Ubisoft has announced details for the open server event for Tom Clancy’s EndWar Online, a spin-off of the not-too-popular, but none-too-bad real-time strategy game, EndWar. Crucial to EndWar was its voice-activated commands, which unfortunately will not be making a return the new game.
In development at Ubisoft Shanghai, Tom Clancy’s EndWar Online is a free-to-play browser game that has players “engage in numerous single player missions or put your skills to the test in intense player.vs. player challenges in an epic power struggle for what little remains on Earth,” taking place in the wake of a massive war between the US, Europe and Russia.
In any case, the game servers will open to all players on Saturday at 8pm GMT and remain open for 48 hours. An hour after they launch, the first in-game Happy Hour will give players the chance to win prizes, including keys to the game’s closed beta and various goodies for participation.
On Sunday, players will be able to take part in player-vs-player matches.
