Konami has revealed a new trailer depicting the key cast from its upcoming game, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2. The trailer showcases the main characters in the vampire-ridden action-adventure from Mercurystream. Among the actors reprising their roles are Patrick Stewart and Robert Carlyle.
The game serves as the conclusion to the Gabriel story arc that first began in Lords of Shadow. Following the revelation where Gabriel was shown to be the legendary Dracula at the end of the first game, the new game finds the weakened vampire stranded in modern times, where an old ally proposes a deal that could offer him freedom from his eternal existence.
The new trailer serves to introduce a range of characters and adversaries in the new game, including Dracula, once Gabriel; Zobek, one of the evil Lords of Shadow who betrayed Gabriel and all of humanity; and many more. The new trailer also showcases some previously unseen locations and environments.
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 will be released for PS3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC on February 25, 2014
