Guerrilla Games hosted a Q&A sessions with fans last week about the multiplayer for Killzone Shadow Fall. Based on reoccurring feedback, the studio plans to address a few areas, including voice chat, in future updates.
Killzone Shadow Fall did not launch with in-game voice chat. Although the PlayStation 4 party system allows you to easily communicate with friends, the lack of in-game voice chat makes teamwork with strangers a difficult task. Guerrilla Games acknowledges the request for voice chat and targets a December update with this feature.
Fan feedback covers a wide range of areas that Guerrilla Games continues to investigate. While the studio designs features such as the Clan System, a skill-based ranking system and faster identification of party members, other areas still need more assessment. Claims of overpowered drones and hip-firing accuracy require further investigation before Guerrilla Games commits to any changes.
