After Naughty Dog hired the programmer from the 343 Industries team developing the Halo series, Naughty Dog continues to expand their development team with a potential spot for a co-op game designer.
Both the Uncharted franchise and the singular The Last of Us release included single player and multiplayer modes, yet none of them offered a cooperative experience. IGameResponsibly spotted a new Naughty Dog job listing that indicates the studio's search for someone to design co-op systems, artificial intelligence and level design.
Both Uncharted 2 and Uncharted 3 let teams of three run through singular levels filled with enemies, yet those co-op modes didn't let players run through the single player story.
Naughty Dog is now busy with their new Uncharted release for the PlayStation 4 as well as the story DLC for The Last of Us. The job listing unfortunately does not indicate the games the employee will help develop.
This past June Naughty Dog posted 19 new job openings via their Twitter account. The vacancies included positions ranging from animators to programmers – enough employees to tackle another project.
