The past week has been chock full of video game delays and today the gaming community sees yet another one. The latest to join the party is Dying Light 2, developer Techland detailed in a development update post.
Unfortunately, fans will have to wait a bit longer for the anticipated sequel to Dying Light. In a blog post, developers Techland reveals that Dying Light 2 will no longer make the Spring 2020 release window, as the team needs more time to fulfill their vision. The post then goes on to say that new details will be arriving in the coming months.

In related news, the past week has seen major delays from 2020’s biggest video game releases. In just a week, Cyberpunk 2077, Final Fantasy VII, and Marvel’s Avengers, all have been delayed out of their original release dates and pushed back a couple of months. However, the silver lining of the whole situation is that when these games finally release, at least they will be with minimal bugs and performance issues.
