Assassin's Creed Liberation HD will be released for both Xbox 360 on January 15th, 2014 Ubisoft has confirmed to Official Xbox Magazine UK.
The game stars Aveline de Grandpre, the first female protagonist in the Assassin's Creed franchise, and is a reworking of Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation which was previously a PlayStation Vita exclusive title.
Liberation visits locations such as New Orleans and the Mayan pyramids at Chichén Itzá. The HD port includes 15 additional missions, reworked visuals, and a remastered soundtrack.
Aveline is also included in a special hour segment of Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag exclusively on PS3 and PS4.
The PlayStation 3 launch date was announced by Sony as January 14th in October. Liberation HD is also headed to Windows PC on January 15th.
The game was first announced in September.
