The Elder Scrolls has been a long-running and much-beloved video game franchise and over the years we’ve seen countless mainline installments released. In between The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and the upcoming sixth mainline installment, Bethesda tossed out an online gameplay experience known as The Elder Scrolls Online. Normally most online MMORPG titles have gone into a free-to-play standpoint in which players have access to the base game with options to purchase additional expansion or in-game content. That’s unfortunately not the case for The Elder Scrolls Online, but throughout its course of being available in the market, Bethesda has been offering free-to-play trials.
Now a new free trial is available which will give players a chance to enjoy the game and see if it’s worth paying into. While Bethesda is publishing the title, the development has been handed over to ZeniMax Online Studios and they’ve been bringing out new expansions and content for the game since it first released back in 2014. This trial gives you a taste of that content until November 13, 2019.
Best of all, the trial is available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, so you’re not stuck at playing the game in any one particular platform. Again, there are several expansions that will give plenty of content to go through and the progress you make from this trial can be carried over when you purchase the full game.
