Finnish game developer Frozenbyte has announced Trine 2: Complete Story for PlayStation 4 today and hope to have the game ready to download from the PS Store at launch or soon after.
The side scrolling puzzle adventure will come with a number of graphical improvements over previous versions of the game sporting a 1080p resolution at 60fps. You'll also be able to play the game in full stereoscopic 3D should you so choose.
Trine 2: Complete Story sees players take on the role of the Thief, the Wizard, and the Knight as they embark on a journey through a colourful but perilous fantasy world and offers puzzles involving water, fire, gravity, and magic while being confronted by goblins along the way.
The game's visual flair earned Trine 2 the Best Artistic Achivement award at the Nordic Game Awards earlier this year.
PS4 players will have access to both the Goblin Menace and the Dwarven Caverns expansions which come included in the Complete Story.
On the PlayStation Blog Frozenbyte promised to have more information in the coming weeks.
The PS4 launches on November 15th in North America and November 29th in Europe so it shouldn't be too long before we know more about Trine 2: Complete Story.
