As I’m sure you are already aware of by now, Quantic Dream received a sizeable investment from NetEase which provided plenty of new support. With it came the ability to develop more video game titles, expand their studio, publish titles and as of late, bring of their latest three video game titles onto the PC platform. The latest and last title from the three, Detroit: Become Human, has yet to see a release on the PC but a new teaser trailer is giving players another look at the game which is being optimized for the platform.
Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls and Detroit: Become Human were Sony exclusives. But as we mentioned earlier, the three video game titles were being put onto the PC platform after the funding through NetEase. While you may have enjoyed the previous installments, there are fans both veterans of the title and newcomers eager to try Detroit: Become Human on the PC.
This teaser trailer doesn’t offer much, but it’s at least the start to get fans ready for the pathway ahead leading towards the game launch. Likewise, just as with Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls, Detroit: Become Human is being fully optimized for the PC which comes with 4K resolution, along with options to play the game with a mouse and keyboard. Now the main question fans have been waiting for from the studio is just when this game will hit the marketplace.
Epic Games Store will have dibs first from what it seems and it’s slated to launch within 2019. Likewise, we don’t know the system specifications just yet for the game so we’re waiting on more than just the release date. If you don’t want to wait any longer for the game, then you can still enjoy it right now fully on the PlayStation 4 platform.
Furthermore, if you’re uncertain if Detroit: Become Human is the game for you then we can lend a hand. We recommend checking out our Before You Buy episode upload below which showcases some gameplay footage along with our overall thoughts and impressions of the title.
