Capcom has released a new gameplay overview at TGS 2019 for their upcoming multiplayer title — Project Resistance.
As expected, Project Resistance will be an asymmetrical 4vs.1 multiplayer game. Four players will team up against one mastermind, who will send out certain enemy variants to cause chaos with the goal of killing each of you.
Asymmetrical multiplayer games are getting quite popular now thanks to titles such as Friday the 13th: The Game and Dead by Daylight, and it seems that Project Resistance is following that same vein of gameplay mechanics.

Trailer Description:
Will you work with your allies as a Survivor, or will you crush their attempt to escape as the vicious Mastermind? The choice is yours in this 4 vs 1 asymmetrical co-op experience. #ProjectResistance
Each of the characters will come with their own unique skillset providing their own advantages and disadvantages. While you and your team are trying to escape, the Mastermind will set up traps, send zombies, and much more to sabotage your escape. For fans of the Resident Evil franchise and those who love multiplayer titles, this title seems to be a perfect blend of the two entities.
Capcom also noted that a closed beta will take place on October 4 through the 7th. Sign-ups for the closed beta will open up tomorrow — September 12th on the official Project Resistance website.
Project Resistance is still without an official release date/window, but it is slated to launch on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
