After three long years of production and team building, Stasis will be embarking on both of its crowd-funding campaigns at the end of the month. The indie adventure game, which is being developed by Christopher Bischoff and his new studio, The Brotherhood, will look to impress the audiences of Kickstarter and Steam Greenlight through its unique take on a classic genre.
If you like both space and clicking on just about everything slapped on a screen, Stasis might be your next small investment. The 2D isometric adventure game takes place on an isolated spacecraft, called Groomlake, where the player controls John Maracheck as he solves many puzzles and explores the mysterious vehicle. Little information on the deep-space adventure is out there, but Bischoff has used these past three years of development quite wisely. The creator has put a great deal of his personal capital into the project, which he claims is about half complete and playable. However, the final build won’t be ready for anyone until the middle of 2014.
“The next few weeks will be very exciting, with new screens, videos and more information about our Kickstarter launch,” he said via a press release. “I’m excited to polish Stasis to triple AAA standards; and Kickstarter and Greenlight will allow me to do just that.”
