Enderal: Forgotten Stories is a free, stand-alone game built from a total-conversion mod for Skyrim — and some players are saying it’s actually better than The Elder Scrolls. The new version of Enderal is 100% free-of-charge on Steam, and you can download it right here.
What makes Enderal special is what it adds to the Skyrim formula. The story is intricate, with fully-scripted quests that are a step above the standard Bethesda mission formula. On top of all that, the game features classes — and by combining classes, you can unlock a ton of bonuses. The Forgotten Stories extended version of the game even includes a variety of new classes you can use and unlock, like the werewolf class. Check out the full list below.
All Class Combinations | Bonuses Guide
There are three standard classes in Enderal — Warrior, Rogue, and Mage. Forgotten Stories includes new Phasmalist and Lycanthrope classes with their own unique class combinations.
- Combo Class: Arcane Archer
- Disciplines: Trickster + Thaumaturge / Elementalist / Sinistrope
- Bonuses: While “Eye of the Storm” is active, archer will fire a second paralyzing arrow.
- Combo Class: Assassin
- Disciplines: Infiltrator + Blade Dancer
- Bonuses: +10% critical chance, and improves silent movement.
- Combo Class: Blade Master
- Disciplines: Vandal + Blade Master
- Bonuses: Bonus to all melee damage.
- Combo Class: Brute
- Disciplines: Vandal + Lycanthrope
- Bonuses: Kills give +5% damage buff, up to 25%. Each charge wears off after 7 seconds.
- Combo Class: Battlemage
- Disciplines: Elementalist + Vandal / Keeper
- Bonuses: Getting a “Shock Nova” kill boosts weapon / magic damage +8% briefly.
- Combo Class: Blade Breaker
- Disciplines: Keeper + Blade Dancer
- Bonuses: Each attack will lower your enemy’s damage resistance.
- Combo Class: Black Mage
- Disciplines: Sinistrope + Elementalist
- Bonuses: The “Shock Nova” attack will absorb enemy HP / MP.
- Combo Class: Dark Keeper
- Disciplines: Sinistrope + Keeper
- Bonuses: Use of “Devour Soul” will buff your attack damage.
- Combo Class: Drifter
- Disciplines: Vagrant + Lycanthrope
- Bonuses: Chemicas are more powerful. Can have +3 Chemicas active at once.
- Combo Class: Druid
- Disciplines: Elementalist + Lycanthrope
- Bonuses: Cast “Shock Nova” when transforming.
- Combo Class: Ghost Blade
- Disciplines: Phasmalist + Infiltrator / Trickster
- Bonuses: Apparition teleports and performs a follow-up attack on any enemy you sneak-attack.
- Combo Class: Shadow Dancer
- Disciplines: Infiltrator + Sinistrope
- Bonuses: Mark enemies with “Ghostwalk” and kill them. Killed enemies will then rise as undead minions.
- Combo Class: Seraph
- Disciplines: Thaumaturge + Keeper / Vandal
- Bonuses: +Mana, +HP, +Heavy Armor, +Magic
- Combo Class: Soul Caller
- Disciplines: Phasmalist + Trickster / Infiltrator
- Bonuses: Apparition transforms into a wolf.
- Combo Class: Scourge of the Woods
- Disciplines: Thaumaturge + Lycanthrope
- Bonuses: Transform to gain the “Colossus” ability — increases your size, and buffs damage resistance, health, and armor.
- Combo Class: Spectral Warrior
- Disciplines: Phasmalist + Keeper / Blade Dancer / Vandal
- Bonuses: Stance bonus applies to your apparition.
- Combo Class: Ravager
- Disciplines: Sinistrope + Lycanthrope
- Bonuses: Transform to gain the “Massacre” ability — attacks absorb HP from enemies.
- Combo Class: Ritualist
- Disciplines: Phasmalist + Sinistrope
- Bonuses: Apparition is stronger with a summoned creature.
- Combo Class: Throat Ripper
- Disciplines: Infiltrator + Lycanthrope
- Bonuses: Grants invisibility while in Wolf Form.
- Combo Class: Well-Traveled One
- Disciplines: Vagrant + Trickster
- Bonuses: Fire Arrows trigger a bonus small explosion when fired.
