A new map for Battlefield 4 may have been revealed by DICE in the run up to the studio's showing at gamescom this week.
The map in question, above, seems to be based around a group of islands and the layout suggests heavy naval combat will play a role.
While gamescom attendees will find out for themselves the rest of us will either have to wait for DICE to officially reveal the map in a trailer or gameplay demo (possibly at EA's gamescom media briefing tomorrow) or until the game's release.
Battlefield 4 is set to launch on October 29th in North America and on November 1st in Europe for PC. PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
gamescom is held in Cologne, Germany and will be open to the public from August 21st to 25th. The annual event is expected to draw over 275,000 visitors.
