DayZ creator Dean "Rocket" Hall has been under tremendous amounts of pressure from the community to finish the standalone version of DayZ. He can't even get a moment's rest to play other games or express his enjoyment of other games without being harassed and harangued for taking a break from developing DayZ.
Just today, Dean Hall posted a screenshot of Kerbal Space Program, a game recently released on the Steam platform. For those of you who don't know, Kerbal Space Program is a game in which you build a space ship for the purpose of launching yourself into space. It's best described as an astrophysics simulator, and allows you to play out your wildest experiments as a would-be astronaut. Needless to say, it's a game Hall particularly enjoys, and he posted a tweet to state so.
Check that out below:
Unfortunately for Hall, his tweet wasn't well received by the "community" surrounding DayZ, whose entitled attitudes slammed him for taking time off DayZ's development. One particular user wrote, "We don't give a shit about you wanting to be an astronaut, just finish the fucking standalone."
Not nice. With attitudes like that, it's no wonder Hall's taking so long.
Calm the hell down, people.
