An internal Microsoft team video showing concepts and principles of what the WGX (Windows Gaming Experience) team hopes to accomplish, has surfaced via ZDnet. WGX is basically an internal Microsoft team which handles the gaming division across all Microsoft platforms and going by this presentation, doesn't have the best interests of current PC gamers in mind. According to the video, Micro-transactions will play a major role in the next-generation "Windows Gaming Experience" and Micsrosoft is desperate to get-in on the "Casual Gaming Scene" currently controlled by mostly Facebook games. Is this the kind of future PC gamers are looking for?
The discontent of PC gamers is pretty evident with the number of "dislikes" surpassing the "likes" by a huge margin on Youtube.
