Capcom today announced more Lost Planet 3 details, including a new trailer, release date, and pre-order bonuses.
Since this is a lot of pieces to get through, here is the basic rundown.
First, according to a post on Capcom's blog, the game will be available in North America on June 25.
Second, the trailer, which you can watch below, tells players a lot about the new story, which will be a prequel to the first game.
In the new game you play as Jim Peyton, Wayne from Lost Planet 1's father, who is hoping to support his family with some dangerous work. Whilst traveling across the frozen wasteland, he comes across a not-so-abandoned facility that is a lot more than it seems on the surface. Then all hell breaks loose.
Lastly, the blog also lists out a number of pre-order bonuses at various retailers, including GameStop, EBGames, Amazon, and Best Buy. Each comes with a different combat pack. GameStop and EBGames come with the Freedom Fighter Pack which comes with five unique multiplayer characters and two rig upgrades. Amazon offers the Punisher Pack which offers three unique weapons and two rig upgrades. Finally, Best Buy has the Assault Pack which also has three unique weapons and two rig upgrades.
For more information about each of the packs you can visit Capcom's blog. You can also watch the trailer below. Opinions? Sound off in the comments.
