The makers of Chronicles of Riddick and the more recent Syndicate have quietly revealed the development of a new first person shooter at the studio, titled Storm, Eurogamer has reported.
Designed as a sci-fi FPS, the shooter has been listed alongside two other titles currently in development at Starbreeze, such as Brothers: A tale of Two Sons, and Payday 2. The latter title is in the works at Overkill Software, which was recently acquired by Starbreeze.
Storm is listed as a "co-op Sci Fi FPS" perhaps building upon the cooperative experience offered in Syndicate's multiplayer mode, which was well-received by fans and critics alike, despite the mediocrity of its single-player campaign. Some artwork, presumably of the game, depicts an industrial scene replete with pipes and steel gantries.
Beyond the game's title and its sci-fi setting, little else has been revealed about Storm. Expect a follow-up once more information about the game becomes available.
