DmC: Devil May Cry is an action game in the vein of the previous Devil May Cry titles, and you could’ve already guessed that from the name. But if fan complaints were anything to go by, they’d have you thinking that the game is nothing at all like its predecessors, in that it has a “weaker story”, “weaker gameplay” and that it may well be worse than Hitler. Their reasons for hating a game they haven’t even played are numerous:
1) it’s not made by the same developer as the original titles, and
2) Dante doesn’t have long white hair anymore, sporting instead short black hair.
In any case, the game offers pretty good combat—it’s easily Ninja Theory’s finest game to date, and they made both Heavenly Sword and Enslaved before now.
While many of the game’s attacks and combo moves can be found in the menu, a number of them—actually, a large number of them—are hidden for you to discover on your own. The following video, which was put together by Hayden Brookfield on YouTube, reveals these secret combos and skills which you can use to amplify Dante’s attacks against his opponents and enable yourself to get triple S-rating combos.
We'll more videos soon.
Just in case, you want a complete guide on every weapon in the game, we have one for that. There's also a guide on how to get each Achievement and Trophy in DmC (warning: spoilers), if those weren't enough, we even have a guide showing you how to finish the entire game and find all the collectibles.
You can also discover the costumes available for Dante to wear here.
