If you’re on the hunt for a different kind of VR game and want a bargain, Codemodeon’s Header Goal VR: Being Axel Rix is currently up for half price.
Part virtual soccer, part redemption story, it puts you into the star-studded shoes of Axel Rix, a disgraced football player who’s desperate to get his career back on track. Through story-centred levels, you’ll be tasked with smashing targets with soccer balls, training with a robotic goal keeper, and building combo-chains while trying to reach a high score. Being Axel Rix supports both Oculus Rift and HTC Vive headsets and promises to entertain players with its immersive, natural and realistic way of heading a soccer ball.
Until September 30, you can pick up a copy of Header Goal VR: Being Axel Rix for $7.49 USD on Steam and the Oculus Store. Two additional episodes are in the making, as well as an endless mode. Follow Codemodeon on Twitter for the latest updates.
