It looks like Kratos is not the only one getting their own limited edition controller; as Crystal Dynamics has teamed up with Microsoft to create a Tomb Raider Limited Edition controller for the Xbox 360.
As you can see in the image above, the controller's finish will give it a scruffed, worn-out look just like Lara does in the game. This scratched design is laser-etched and will feature a two-layer color finish. Of course, it's up to you to decide if you think it looks grungey awesome, or tacky,
This Limited Edition Tomb Raider controller will be priced at $59.99 and will come with a download token for an exclusive playable multiplayer character named Scavenger Archer. It's a bit pricey but at least you're getting something other than a worn-out controller.
For those interested, the controller will hit retail on March 5, which is the same date as the game's release.
So, what do you think? Is it awesome looking or making a controller look busted up is not a good idea? Personally, I'm on the fence whether I think it's a nice touch or not. Come to think of it, my old Xbox 360 controllers used to look a bit like this one; minus the laser-etched finish, of course.
