Just yesterday we reported on how Treyarch will be wiping the stats of Prestige Master hackers. I admit, that's certainly needed nowadays, but there's also one more issue that needs to be addressed — and fast.
I'm talking about spawn problems in Black Ops 2's multiplayer. While there's no multiplayer-focused FPS game that doesn't have an issue with spawns and spawn-trapping, it feels worse in Black Ops 2 — especially in Team Deathmatch. This, of course, is an issue since TDM is the most-played mode in any Call of Duty game.
To prove my point, watch the video below by YouTube user Ballerz521. In it, he plays Domination on Hijacked and jumps off the ship when the match starts to immediately spawn at the enemy base.
This sort of scenario isn't exclusive to Hijacked or the smaller maps. If you've played Black Ops 2 online extensively, I'm certain you've encountered an instance where you spawned and there was an enemy at your face. Either that or you spawned just in time to eat a Hellstorm or Lightning Strike to add another death to your counter without any means to defend yourselves.
Based on my playthrough and from what most people are saying, Black Ops 2's spawns work out in a way that it will spawn (or the enemy) in an area with the least number of hostiles. But what if everyone's scattered? Well. I've experienced it numerous times where the enemy was spawning below or around me (Plaza) and if you have a silenced gun? Tough luck to them.
Now, I'm not bashing Black Ops 2. On the contrary, I think it's one of the most-balanced Call of Duty games in a long time, but Treyarch needs to fix the spawns. Hopefully, looking at this video and post will help them do that in an update.
