If you're one of the people that still plays Uncharted 3's multiplayer, you might be in for a treat when 2013 rolls around, as Naughty Dog has something "exciting" to announce at the start of the new year.
This bit was revealed by the studio themselves in their holiday post on the official U.S. PlayStation Blog. In their holiday message, the studio states, "we recently announced our holiday items and we’ll have even more content inbound in the New Year. Additionally, we have some very exciting information about multiplayer around the start of next year."
To make sure you don't miss it, check back regularly on the PlayStation Blog and on Naughty Dog's own official blog for updates. Either that or just check back here since we'll be posting whatever it is they have to announce once it's made public.
In other Naughty Dog news, the studio also reveals that while The Last of Us team will be working over the holidays to make sure the game reaches its next milestone, the rest of the staff will be doing research for "upcoming work" and even assisting The Last of Us team if need be.
I don't know about you, but "upcoming work" seems like a new project to me. Of course, it can either be The Last of Us 2, a new Jak & Daxter, Uncharted 4 or even be a new IP. Given Naughty Dog's pedigree, whatever it is, gamers should really be excited.
Are you still playing Uncharted 3's multiplayer? What news can Naughty Dog drop that's "exciting" for you to take notice? Also, if you had a choice, what "upcoming work" would you want Naughty Dog to be doing next?
