Hideo Kojima loves tweeting about the food he eats when he isn't hard at work on his next Metal Gear Solid game, which he often swears will be the last one he makes.
Today, Kojima posted a series of pictures of of special PlayStation 3 bento boxes which were designed with Metal Gear "character bento" to mark the series' 25th anniversary, which Sony had prepared for him. (via Twitter.)
Sony also prepared character bento boxes of Final Fantasy, but Kojima had better things to do than to take any pictures of them.
Kotaku's Japanese expert Brian Ashcraft notes that the bento is made of mashed potatoes, with the hair and beard of green onions, and quail eggs for the eyes. Tapioca, he says, were used to achieve the eye color.
Kojima's next game, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, is set for release early next year for the PS3 and Xbox 360. He also has another Metal Gear title in the works, and is rumored to be working on Phantom Pain.
