For those that didn't know, Capcom's upcoming DmC won't just have your standard easy, normal and hard difficulty modes. Instead, Capcom is bringing the pain with four alternate difficulty modes that should test the mettle of any action-adventure fans.
In the video below, Capcom shows off the difference between the normal mode and the"Son of Sparda" mode. The latter will have remixed enemy layouts, tougher enemies and even their "behavior" will be different.

If you're curious to try Son of Sparda mode out, the demo out now on the PSN and on Xbox LIVE has it, but you need to complete the demo on one of the three difficulty settings (Human, Devil Hunter, Nephilim) first. Keep in mind that Son of Sparda isn't even the hardest setting available; there's the Hell and Hell super-hard difficulty setting that will make Dante a one-hit weakling. I normally play games on their hardest difficulty setting right away to save on Trophy/Achievement hunting but I don't think I'm that crazy yet.
DmC is being developed by Ninja Theory and is set for a January 15, 2013 release for the Xbox 360 and the PS3, with the PC version soon to follow.
