When it comes to the DJ Octavio, there’s going to be plenty of chaos and it’s difficult to really break this battle into separate parts. Instead, it’s best to give overall tips when you take on this boss and for starters, we’re going to suggest that you spray your ink around as best as you can.

This will allow players to easily maneuver around the level, though for the most part, you’re going to need a focus on dodging and firing back the attacks DJ Octavio sends your way.

Throughout the battle, DJ Octavio will send flying arms your way in which you’ll need to shoot in order for them to be sent back as a reverse attack to the boss. However, there are plenty of tricks up DJ Octavio’s sleeves as he’ll use various missiles and balloons that will either paint the level in the enemy color ink or used directly to inflict damage.

The best way to avoid damage is simply attack anything that comes your way which will counter the attack in your benefit or completely avoid taking on any more damage.

It’s worth pointing out that crates around the map will also additional armor which may be worth your time investing a pathway to them while avoiding attacks against DJ Octavio.

Once the boss receives enough hits he’ll go down. Ultimately, just like the past bosses, you’ll need to get three critical strikes against the boss before you are able to fully defeat it in which case you can use the rail that will reach the downed Octavio in order to trigger the final end credits.
