Konami has released a new video for Platinum Games' Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and it not only shows new gameplay footage, but it even teaches players how to pull of Raiden's badass moves.
Give it a watch as the video shows you the necessary buttons to press in pulling off parries, combos and devastating finishing moves. It might have the Metal Gear brand associated with it, but the gameplay itself is far from the franchise's stealth-heavy approach. Mind you, I'm not really complaining as the footage below looks good enough to give DmC and other action games a run for their money.
While Zone of the Enders HD Collection buyers had a chance to take Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance for a spin already, Konami has announced that the game's Tokyo Game Show demo — which was the same demo included in the ZotE HD Collection — will be released next week.
The demo itself will include VR missions that teaches players how to control Raiden and there's even a boss fight, too. Demo players will be able to fight the LQ-84i or "Bladewolf," which is a robotic dog with a chainsaw for a tail, at the end of the demo.
For now, the demo is scheduled to appear for the PS3 in Japan only. Yep, so for those two people in Japan that plays on your Xbox 360, you're quite out of luck.
Can Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance step out of Solid Snake's shadow? We'll know for sure once the game's released in February of 2013 for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
