Strangely enough, Ratchet and Clank: Full Frontal Assault (or Qforce in the UK) has been pushed back to January 2013. The PlayStation 3 release of the smaller scale game is unaffected, and we’ll be seeing it next week on November 27th in the US, and later in EU.
Sony says the delay is "to ensure that your experience is packed with all the action and polish you'd expect from a Ratchet & Clank game". The game is obviously finished though, so it must be a matter of it not playing nice with Vita.
The game was somewhat special in that it would only be $20.00 and when you buy one digitally, you could download it on your PS3 or your PS Vita. And it supports cross-play. But the offer will still stand—you’ll have to wait until January to play it on your Vita, as Sony will release download codes then.
It’s not all bad though. Sony is rewarding you for your patience…whether you have any or not.
"To reward you for your patience, we'll be giving you the very first piece of DLC for the title, the Miniboss multiplayer skin pack, for free," adds Sony.
We’ll have the more precise date for the Vita release as soon as Sony releases it.
