Today Respawn released a trailer showcasing some of the nifty moves players can expect from the new Titan titled Monarch, along with the new execution, a brief look at the new map and the new Ronin and Tone prime Titans.
Monarch has been described as a “Midrange vanguard-class” Titan who upgrades over time and has the ability to drain other Titans to maintain your or allies shields. Monarch weaponry features a chain gun as well as a missile system similar to Tone and has a pretty freakin’ epic execution which rips the pilot out the enemy Titan and squishes him/her in her hand.
The upcoming map is a revisit of an original Titanfall map called Relic, players can also expect some changes to one of the more frustrating maps, Crashsite, fixing existing collision bugs and introducing ziplines, along with more places to wall run.
The update will bring new Prime Titan skins for Ronin and Tone along with new nose art, camos and callsigns to purchase from the store. Players can also expect a new execution to earn called Now You See Me which works with the Cloak ability.
Finally, the fan favourite, Titanbrawl, will be making a return, offering double XP.
Monarch’s Reign will release May 30th for PS4, PC and Xbox One. Don’t forget, it’s a free update so put your wallet away before Activision sees it.
