Joystiq reported earlier today that the Wii U version of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 will clock in at 16.7 gigabytes. If you have been watching Wii U release notes, you will remember that the most expensive package contains 32 gigabytes of space and will retail for $349.99 when it is released next month. So, this one game will take up more than half of the possible internal memory the launch Wii U will cotain.
Thankfully, the Wii U will allow for external hard drives to be attached to the system. Nintendo, a relative newcomer to digital distribution of latest gen games, may be experiencing a few growing pains at it simultaneously fights trends in the latest generation of video games and accepts them.
Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is already out in the United States and Europe for the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3. The Wii U version will be released on November 18th.
