Ubisoft has made good on its word to release the Far Cry 3 mod for Minecraft, which allows you to explore and survive the Minecraft PC experience in the warped setting of Far Cry 3.
The modification changes all aspects of the game, including blocks, the mobs you'll fight, and the weapons and tools you'll use to survive the environment.
You'll be able to find key Far Cry 3 locations and characters, including Vaas, Jason, and Citra, all of whom have been completely redesigned as characters in Minecraft. The map included in the mod features over 50 easter eggs hidden throughout the islands.
Ubisoft notes that the map was designed by Michael Lambert (Sacr3, creator of Newcraft city), and artists Axel Janssen and Yohann Delcourt, who made all the textures in the mod.
You can download it from the official Far Cry 3 website here. You'll need the PC version of Minecraft to run it.
