Are you one of the two people in the world without a Wii? If so, Nintendo is enticing you to get one before the Wii U ships as they're dropping the Wii's price.
Starting October 28, Nintendo will be bundling a black Wii, a Wii Remote Plus, Nunchak controller and a disc containing Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort all for $129.99.
Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America's executive vice president of Sales & Marketing had this to say:
Nearly six years after it launched, people are still attracted to the pure, inclusive fun of the Wii console…A new suggested retail price and the inclusion of two great games make it an easy choice for families looking for a great value this holiday season.
Currently, Nintendo's bundle comes with a copy of New Super Mario Bros. Wii, a music CD and sells for $149.99. According to Nintendo, this new announced bundle will replace the old one.
Is this a good deal? Honestly, I don't think so, since the Wii U is just around the corner. But for those not interested in shiny HD graphics or playing the latest games, this will, most likely, be enough.
