Ubisoft has put together a brand new trailer of Assassin's Creed 3 showcasing the naval warfare that Connor will be able to partake in as he captains a vessel of his very own.
The trailer showcases Connor's naval command, including ranged ship-to-ship battles and boarding, where Connor can cut down men in close combat.
Also previewed is the game's dynamic weather system, which deliver an unprecedented level of realism to the Assassin's Creed franchise.
The new video was released in anticipation of the game's live presentation at the upcoming Gamescom convention which takes place in Cologne, Germany. It's not the first time we've seen naval warfare in Assassin's Creed 3, but it's certainly been polished a great deal since it was last previewed at E3.
Assassin's Creed 3 is set for an October 30 release on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. It will be available a few weeks after on the PC, and is slated as a launch title for the Nintendo Wii U.
