Scalebound, the Xbox One-exclusive from Japanese developer Platinum Games, is “making good progress,” head of Xbox Phil Spencer tweeted.
“[Scalebound] is making good progress; my first game with Platinum Games. I always learn working with new studios,” Spencer said in a tweet.

Scalebound was announced at E3 2014 to be an Xbox One-exclusive game from video game director Hideki Kamiya. Since then, Microsoft and Platinum games have remained quiet on the project, but next month at Gamescom 2015, Microsoft has revealed that Scalebound, along with other Xbox One-exclusives Crackdown and Quantum Break, will be making appearances at the show along with updates on each individual project.
In other Gamescom news, Konami announced today that Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain and Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 will be available for the public to play for the first time at the show in Cologne, Germany. Sony, however, will not have a presence at Gamescom this year, instead choosing to attend Paris Games Week in October.
