We have some new rumors for you for Star Wars: Battlefront, as well as the other Star Wars game under production by Visceral Games. This information comes to us courtesy of Star Wars HQ. You can subscribe to their YouTube channel here.
First off, there is a possibility that EA DICE will be sharing a new trailer for Star Wars: Battlefront at this year's GDC. This upcoming trailer will be a full 15 minutes long, so unless it's filled with more developer quotes, it should reveal a lot about the game itself.
There is also a rumor, which does seem likely, that Star Wars: Battlefront will be part of the EA Access program. What this means is that Xbox One owners subscribed to EA Access will get to play the game a few days before PlayStation 4 and Windows owners will get to play it. It could also mean fans who remain undecided will get a limited time demo, again, exclusive to Microsoft's console.
Finally, we know work on Visceral Games' open world Star Wars game is going well because its writers have said so. Amy Hennig, most famous for her work on Uncharted, and Todd Stashwick, who is currently involved in the 12 Monkeys TV series, have separately tweeted some hype for the fans. You can read their tweets below.
@_Bryony_ You're very kind. Can't wait to show what @ToddStashwick and I have been working on. I think you'll approve. 🙂 x

"RT @KIR_bigg50: how's the Star Wars game coming along?” Truly we are making something very cool. A game I will be excited to play.
