Rodea the Sky Soldier has been revived, and is coming to Wii U and 3DS in Japan this spring 2015.
Rodea is a flying action game developed by Prope, under famed NiGHTS and Sonic developed Yuji Naka. Naka originally announced the game concept in 2010, and actually claimed the game was finished for Wii in 2011. Although Kadokawa Games was expected to publish in Japan, with XSEED to localize it for the West, the game never materialized under mysterious circumstances.
However, as early as last year, Kadokawa Games’ president Yoshimi Yasuda revealed a 3DS port was in the works, and the company filed a trademark for the name last May.
Now, Famitsu confirms that the long stalled game is finally to be released. Details are sparse for now, but you can check out official screenshots below.
