BioWare held a livestream of Dragon Age: Inquisition yesterday on Twitch.tv, where they detailed various parts of the game—notably its character customization and combat. Following that, a website called 1080players put out a report stating that the game would be running at 900p/30fps on both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Would-be players were incensed by the news, and posted their adverse reactions to the information on websites like NeoGAF, where a heated discussion ensued about the game’s graphical fidelity.
Contrary to 1080players’ report, the game will not be running at 900p/30fps. BioWAre Producer Cameron Lee took to the BioWare forums to state the following:
We haven’t announced anything of the kind. It’s a fake.
I know lots of people are curious about this topic and we’ll talk about at a later time, so until then anyone saying things like that should be taken with a mountain of salt.
Readers on the NeoGAF thread even pointed out that nowhere in the livestream are the figures mentioned.
Dragon Age: Inquisition is set for release on November 18 in North America and November 21 in Europe for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.
