Just a few days ago, we showed you a few methods on how people boost in Black Ops 2. While boosting is bad enough, it seems some people are even going a step further and buying accounts with high Prestige ranks, impressive K/D ratios and more.
In our post earlier this month, we showed you where cheaters converse and share their dirty secrets for Black Ops 2. In that same forum, and in other areas of the internet, some people are even selling their Xbox LIVE, PSN accounts for those who don't want to put in the time to get to a certain Prestige level, or maybe they're not good enough.
So, if you've encountered a high-level Prestige player with an upwards of 2.00 K/D but plays like crap, chances are they might be having a bad game — or they're not really that good and just bought that account.
Based on my experience, I've come across a few players like these. Just the past few days, I've met a Prestige Master online with a K/D of 5. Yep, you read that right; his K/D ratio was more than 5:1. But when we played, he can't do jack. After a few minutes of struggling and going 0-5 or 0-7, he just left and quit. I'm not sure, but chances are that person is one of those people who bought their Prestige Master rank.
If you think this is breaking Black Ops 2's multiplayer integrity, you're not alone. Treyarch is now actively banning and resetting those who they find glitching, boosting or those who bought their levels and ranks.
Do you think Treyarch should let these "Prestige buyers" be or are they right in resetting their stats? To be honest, I don't even see the reason why people need to buy accounts with good stats and high Prestige levels. Isn't the journey in getting a Prestige Master rank part of the fun?
What do you make of these Prestige buyers? Are they a pathetic bunch or are they just people unwilling to invest time in order to get the max rank in multiplayer games?
Thanks, Reddit
