One thing that plagued the first Medal of Honor reboot's multiplayer back in 2010 was the spawn system. It was way too easy to unleash your Support Actions and essentially spawn camp the enemy until they quit.
It seems this won't be a problem in Warfighter — or at least it won't be for now. Danger Close has posted an update on Battlelog detailing the fixes they've rolled out for the beta.
- Fallback Spawn – We’ve received a ton of feedback on our spawn mechanic! It was clear that the initial system occasionally placed players too close to harm’s way. This new update changes where you spawn in vs. the proximity of enemy players when using fallback spawn. We are also investigating Fireteam spawns for the final game.
- Weapon Tuning – We’ve listened to your feedback regarding weapons and have tweaked them accordingly.
- Player Dropout – We’ve addressed some issues regarding player connectivity and should have a more stable connection to game servers.
Lastly, while the beta might give players a firm grasp on the game's gunplay, it takes place on only one map. So, if you're sick of seeing gameplay from Sarajevo Stadium, we have the deluge of clips that shows the game's other multiplayer levels.
Here's the first one which is over five-minutes long (courtesy of Videogamer):
The next few short clips come from Gametrailers and in it, you can see the maps: Al Fara, Somalia Stronghold, Novi Grad and Shogore Valley.
Don't forget, the Xbox 360 beta will end on October 15. So you only have a few days left to leave your feedback and see what needs fixing in the final release, Of course, whatever needs to be fixed will be a patch since the game is about 10 days from release.
